History

Mar. 1925 Started the production factory of steel spring in Tsukimicho, Naka-ku, Nagoya, named CHUO SPRING MANUFACTURING.
Nov. 1930 Started production of aircraft engine valve springs.
Jan. 1931 Relocated the factory(Nagoya Plant) to Ganmichi-cho, minami-ku, Nagoya, and Founded CHUO SPRING SEISAKUSHO Co., Ltd.
Oct. 1931 Started production of valve springs for aircraft engine and machine gun and large springs for automobile.
Apr. 1936 Changed the company name to Chuo Spring Co., Ltd.
Apr. 1941 Constructed Narumi Plant(current head office) in Narumi-cho, Aichi-gun.
Dec. 1948 According to the adjustment plan based on Industrial Readjustment Act, established the second company, NEW CHUO SPRING Co., Ltd., settled its Head Office in Narumi and dissolved the original company.
Nov. 1952 Product, `spring washer’ was designated as JIS item(JIS Indication permit No. 1990).
Mar. 1954 Changed the company name to “CHUO SPRING Co., Ltd”.
Oct. 1961 Listed on the second sections of the Nagoya Stock Exchange.
Apr. 1964 Started operation of Hekinan Plant.
Nov. 1966 Established Chuhatsu Hanbai Co., Ltd. ( Absorbed Chuhatsu Sales Co., Ltd. as subsidiary company in June 1995.)
Nov. 1968 Started operation of Miyoshi Plant.
Oct. 1970 Established subsidiary company, Chuhatsu Unyu Co., Ltd.
Feb. 1977 Awarded good heat control for Narumi Plant by MITI.
Jun. 1977 Invested the capital to Togo Cable Co., Ltd. ( Absorbed Togo Cable Co., Ltd. as subsidiary company in June 1982.)
Sep. 1978 Received PM prize for Hekinan Plant.
Feb. 1982 Started operation of Miyoshi West Plant.
Jan. 1985 Listed on the second sections of the Tokyo stock Exchange.
Feb. 1985 Invested the capital to CEPLUS Co., Ltd. and absorbed it as subsidiary company.
Aug. 1985 Established Technical Center in Miyoshi-cho, Nishikamogun Aichi Pref.
Mar. 1986 Invested the capital to Chuhatsu Seikou Co., Ltd. and absorbed it as subsidiary company.
Sep. 1986 Listed on the first sections of both the Tokyo Stock Exchange and Nagoya Stock Exchange.
Aug. 1987 Established TAIWAN CHUHATSU FACTORY, Co., Ltd. in Taiwan, (became a subsidiary company in Aug.1990).
Aug. 1988 Started operation of Fujioka Plant.
Sep. 1989 Established ACK CONTROLS Inc. (joint company) in U.S.A. (became a subsidiary company in Jan. 1992).
Merged with CHUO PRECISION SPRING GLASGOW,INC. in U.S.A., and changed the company name to CHUHATSU NORTH AMERICA,INC. in Feb. 2017.
Apr. 1990 Invested the capital to P.T. TRI. SATRIA UTAMA in Indonesia.(became a subsidiary company in Dec. 2000,changed the company name to P.T. CHUHATSU INDONESIA in Jul. 2001)
Jun. 1990 Invested the capital to TOMEI CABLE TELEVISION Co., Ltd.(The current company name is Chubu Cable Network Company, Inc.)
Apr. 1992 Established CHUHATSU TECHNICAL SCHOOL (within Miyoshi Plant).
Jun. 1996 Established CHUO-THAI CABLE Co., Ltd. in Thailand (became a subsidiary company in Sep. 1997,changed the company name to CHUHATSU (THAILAND) CO., LTD. in Jun. 2014.)
Jun. 1996 Established GIFU-CHUHATSU Co., Ltd. as a subsidiary company.
Jun. 1997 Registered ISO-9001 for “Design, development, and manufacturing of engine valve spring and knitted wire mesh products for automobiles”.
Jan. 1998 Registered ISO-9001 for “Design, development, and manufacturing of window operating systems”.
Jul. 1998 Registered ISO-9001 for “Design, development, and manufacturing of fingerprint identification system and displacement sensor for electronic musical instrument”.
Sep. 1998 Registered ISO-9001 for “Design, development, and manufacturing of transmission control cables for automobiles”.
Dec. 1998 Celebrated 50th anniversary of the company establishment.

Mar. 2000 Chassis Spring Div. Precision Spring Div. Control Cable Div. become the registered firm of QS 9000.
Mar. 2001 Established CHUO PRECISION SPRING GLASGOW, INC. in U.S.A. as a subsidiary company.
Merged with ACK CONTROLS INC. in U.S.A., and changed the company name to CHUHATSU NORTH AMERICA,INC. in Feb. 2017.

Apr. 2002 Established Rozmas Chuo Springs in Turkey.
Aug. 2002 Established Chuo Mubea Suspension Components Co. in U.S.A.

Feb. 2003 Invested the capital to Shanghai Chisca Autosuspension Components Co.,Ltd. in China.
Sep. 2003 Established Tianjin Chuhatsu Huaguan Machinery Co., Ltd. in China.
Oct. 2003 Established Tianjin Chuhatsu Fawer Spring Co., Ltd. in China,changed the company name to Tianjin Longxing Co., Ltd. in Jul. 2014.
Mar. 2004 Established Kunshan Chuho Spring Co., Ltd. in China.
Jun. 2005 Established Tianjin Zhongxing Automotive Components Co., Ltd. in China.
Apr. 2006 Invested the capital to FUJIOKA-CHUHATSU Co., Ltd and absorbed it as subsidiary company.

Nov. 2013 Established Xiaogan Zhongxing Automotive Components Co., Ltd. in China, changed the company name to Xiaogan Chuhatsu Lioho Automotive Components Co., Ltd. in Apr. 2016.
